Please read these guidelines before sending me email: 

1. Send Plain ASCII text only! I do not accept email that is HTML formatted or MIME encoded. To learn how to send Plain-Text and for what is wrong with sending HTML or MIME messages see Configuring Mail Clients to Send Plain Text.
2. NO Attachments! Email that contains attachments of any kind will be deleted un-read. If you have an attachment you want to send me, email me first and I'll give you a special email address where you can send it.
3. Also, remember to include a VALID return email address! Make sure the "From:" and/or the "Reply-To:" fields in your email are set correctly.
4. AOL Users note: From time-to-time AOL rejects incoming email from cyberspace.org -- If you email me from an AOL.com address (and follow the above guidelines) and never receive a reply, it is because AOL is filtering your email!
5. EarthLink SpamBlocker Users note: You must add the "cyberspace.org" domain address to your list of allowed senders, otherwise you will not see a reply or it may be redirected to your "suspect email" fold!
   
   

I make an attempt to answer all the email that I receive... even if it's just a note saying, "I don't know." :) If you do not receive a reply in a reasonable amount of time it's probably because your "return address" is incorrect or you've sent me HTML formatted email (AOL's mail program is known for this!) or something happened to my mail server and your message got "lost".

If you tried emailing me and received a bounce message, check here to see if my mailserver is up and running - this page is hosted on another server so that if the main server appears to be down you can still check here to see if there is an extended period of downtime and the status with an indication of what is wrong, and if known, when everything is expected to be back to normal.
