The links on this page will allow you to tune into many interesting frequencies located all over the world, FREE! These frequencies include public safety agencies like police departments, fire departments, 911 dispatch centers, and many other users such as air traffic control towers and railroads. You will hear breaking news stories as they occur in real-time right from your laptop or desktop PC.
You don't need any specialized equipment or antennas. All you need are a couple of programs that allow streaming audio, chances are you may already have them installed! For some of the audio feeds you'll need a recent version of Real Audio Player, other feeds use Windows Media Player. If you already have both of these programs installed then you're all set to go!
Listed here are the Live Scanners on the internet that I know about. If you have a scanner, or know of one, that is currently broadcasting and it is not on the list below, or find a link that is no longer "live" anymore, please use the contact information at the bottom of this page to let me know.
When sending new listings, please remember to include both the CITY and STATE (or country)... trying to figure out what state "Springfield Police and Fire" is located in, makes the task even more diffucult!
